Our Mission

The Virtual Facilities Coalition of America exists to make responsible data-center growth the standard, not the exception. We are building an enforceable, independently verified standard for responsible development, putting verifiable facts on the table, and convening industry, utilities, water and public-health experts, and host communities, so America builds the compute and energy it needs without forcing a choice between progress and people.

Helping Meet Increasing Demands

America must be prepared with the energy, workforce, land, connectivity, and public understanding needed to support this critical sector.

Who We Are

An Independent Table for America's Digital Infrastructure

VFCOA is a member-led coalition that deliberately reaches beyond industry. Our members and partners include data center operators, utilities, water providers, engineers, and workforce educators, alongside the public-health and community voices who keep growth accountable. What holds it together is a shared commitment to responsible growth and to standards with real teeth.

What We Do

Shaping Smart Policy and Responsible Growth

Pillar 1 - Build the Standard

We are developing a clear, enforceable standard covering water, energy, noise, air, transparency, and community impact, with independent verification, so "responsible data center" comes to mean something specific and provable. This is our founding work, and we're building it in the open.

Pillar 2 - Answer the Concerns

We publish sourced, straight answers to the real questions communities are asking about water, power, health, and cost, including the hard ones.

Pillar 3 - Bring Everyone to the Table

We convene industry alongside utilities, water providers, public-health experts, and community leaders, so decisions get made with shared facts and real standards instead of fear or hype.
